Introducing Frank and Mavis Dawson who were awarded this year's Allan Silver Award for services to the society from the Zebra Finch Society, and presented by Peter Cannan who is our General Secretary and also the Secretary and Ring secretary for the ZFS. Frank and Mavis are former members of our SWZFC who no longer participate with bird keeping but are the Membership and Merchandising secretaries for the ZFS. This is the second time that they have been nominated for the award, so a double congratulations to them and our thanks for their service to the ZFS and it's members.

As Editor of the club, I believe it is in the club's interest to keep up with modern IT times and this is our first tiny tentative step to achieve that goal.

Once we know what and how to develop the site there should be information, announcements and pictorial records from our club and links to other Zebra Finch sites
