2024 show report, results and photos.

 South Western Zebra Finch Club Area show held Sunday 15^th September 2024

With over 140 entries comprising of 74 Champion, 61 Novice and 6 Junior including single Birds there was some hard work for judges Brent Humphries and Tony (Tucker) Furlong to be getting down to.

The show was held in conjunction with the South West Bengalese Finch Club and also included classes for other Foreign birds which were judged by Paul Paintain ( Bengalese) and Adrian Wills (Foreign) and held as usual in the brilliant ‘Kenn Centre’ at Kennford near Exeter Devon which is also used by other west country clubs and societies with staging stored on site.

Again, brilliant Catering by ‘Kimmy’s’ of Newton Abbott for the second year running. Thank you, ladies. (perfect jacket spuds)

The show was in Memorial for Maggy Bates who sadly passed earlier in the year. The awards and Trophies were presented from both Bengalese and Zebra shows by husband Derrick.

Exhibitors travelled from as far afield as Wales, Cornwall, Bristol, Hampshire and Sussex to exhibit their birds and the SWZFC would like to thank them for their support.
